I've Been ETSY'd Finally !!!

OK all... I've got my new ETSY store up and running now... I've been selling some of my cards to friends and relatives and they have been after me to sell online..

so  wander on over and take a look.. I'm just getting started so not a lot posted in ETSY yet... but I'm working away at home... If you see something you like and would like it customized, just let me know.. or if you see one of my cards for a challenge and would like one in another color scheme, I'd be glad to do that also.. Frosty the Snowman

I decided to do something a little different with a cut file I was "playing around" with..  I turned the inside cut a quarter turn and liked the way it set the snowman image off.  This card is being entered into the following challenge:

Ive been so busy making cards that I've neglected taking pictures.. I finally lined them all up and started snapping...

I colored this Dustin Pike image first.. I think this "Relaxin Rudy" is just the cutest..  The paper is from Paper Studios All Seasons.. Colored with Copics.. I used metallic pens to highlight, silver metallic and glitter foam snowflakes for accent.

 I created this card for a dear cousin who visited last month and cooked the entire time she was here.. Did I mention she is from the deep south... OH MY... a wonderful cook... I'm sorry for my absence from blogger.  My Lupus usually will make an appearance during the hot months..  And since we live on the Gulf coast.... Need I say more.. Now that we are getting cooler weather  I've been busy making cards for the Etsy shop so go take a look at some of the new designs..  I've got some new designs that I'll be posting to blogger in the next few days..  Fall / Winter is always a busier time for me so stay tuned for some new things.. Its Been A Beach Of A Day.....

hey all.. well I must of had too much coffee today cuz I was able to complete two cards today.   usually my cards are drying at night then I take pics the next day.. but today was one of those days where everything fell into place.. and not on the ground like usual...  granted the cards are not super elaborate, but sometimes I like the image to shine thru.. I used a sketch from the Bugaboo Stella Sketch for the layout on this card. and the image is a Bugaboo Stamp.  I used glossy accents on her glasses to give that Ray-Ban aviator look... oh lordy I'm dating myself with that one... I used to wear those super reflective glasses before they were Retro !!

well its been more like a sprinkle here.. not enough rain yet.. Hope we don't have another dry summer.. I made this card in hopes the rain gods will get the hint... :)  Since I was thinking of a teenager while I was creating this I decided to make the word art kinda funky... ahhh the glorious days of spring... birds, bees, flowers, pollen... :)
I LOVE to see the tulips and redbud trees start to wake up from a long winter.. (well I live in the deep south, so long is not exactly right..) but you get my drift... but my goodness the pollen is dealing everyone fits this spring.. we all came down with something for about a month.. just now slowly coming around..
when I saw this digi from Bugaboo, I just had to have it.. I love the offset look of it..  with all the allergy pills I was taking I felt like my head was gone sometimes too...
I used glaze on the raindrops and some bling for sparkle.  The ribbon and papers were from my stash.. I've been trying to be good and reuse, recycle my craft supplies.... its my CREDO for this year..

Stella Says Sketch

I decided to change it up today a little bit.. at my "Copic Corner" where i sit to color, I have all my Prisma pencils sitting in a holder staring at me while I work with my copics..  I still had my gamsol (mineral spirits) in a jar ready.  so instead I found my hand wandering to the pencils today.. Its been a while and it took me a bit to get the hang of it again.. but I forgot how much fun it is to watch the wax blend out once you touch the gamsol saturated stump to the color...

OK Its Official.. I LOVE LOVE Saturated Canary Stamps...

ooo I'm gonna be in sooo much trouble when honey sees the bank account.. Its just not possible to decide which one is the cutest.. I LOVE all of Saturated Canary's stamps... This week Challenge #14 was "Thinking Of You".. I saw Wildflower Fairy and thought of my sister who is a LOVER of all things Fairy... She has moved waaaay across the US and I miss her terribly.. I knew when I saw the image that I wanted her sitting in a field of flowers... I had a lot of fun, but boy was it hard to glue those tiny, tiny, crystals.... Hope you like it and hope it brings a smile to my sister....

I've been waiting to post this for a week now.. I was tickled pink when I was asked to be a Guest Designer at CMC Copic Challenge. Its a super fun site for all levels of Copic experience... Our theme this challenge was "Spring Pretties".. I created this Easter card for a neighbor.
