Fall Thank You

 I created this card for a dear cousin who visited last month and cooked the entire time she was here.. Did I mention she is from the deep south... OH MY... a wonderful cook... I think I gained 20 pounds.. I wanted to tell her "THANK YOU" and how much we appreciated it all.  When I saw this Magnolia stamp I knew I had to use it along with fall colors...

So Sorry I've Been Absent..

I'm sorry for my absence from blogger.  My Lupus usually will make an appearance during the hot months..  And since we live on the Gulf coast.... Need I say more.. Now that we are getting cooler weather  I've been busy making cards for the Etsy shop so go take a look at some of the new designs..  I've got some new designs that I'll be posting to blogger in the next few days..  Fall / Winter is always a busier time for me so stay tuned for some new things.. my favorite kind of therapy... I just love this store front window by Magnolia stamps.  It goes great with this shopping Tilda.  This week at Simply Magnolia the challenge was to use 2 Magnolia images.. These go together like peas and carrots.. I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Its Been A Beach Of A Day.....

hey all.. well I must of had too much coffee today cuz I was able to complete two cards today.   usually my cards are drying at night then I take pics the next day.. but today was one of those days where everything fell into place.. and not on the ground like usual...  granted the cards are not super elaborate, but sometimes I like the image to shine thru.. I used a sketch from the Bugaboo Stella Sketch for the layout on this card. and the image is a Bugaboo Stamp.  I used glossy accents on her glasses to give that Ray-Ban aviator look... oh lordy I'm dating myself with that one... I used to wear those super reflective glasses before they were Retro !!

well its been more like a sprinkle here.. not enough rain yet.. Hope we don't have another dry summer.. I made this card in hopes the rain gods will get the hint... :)  Since I was thinking of a teenager while I was creating this I decided to make the word art kinda funky... Hey everyone.. I'm super excited to tell you that I won the Bugaboo Stamps Stella Sketch challenge.  You can tell by how many cards I use their images on that I LOVE Bugaboo stamps.. Happy Happy Spring

ahhh the glorious days of spring... birds, bees, flowers, pollen... :)
I LOVE to see the tulips and redbud trees start to wake up from a long winter.. (well I live in the deep south, so long is not exactly right..) but you get my drift... but my goodness the pollen is dealing everyone fits this spring.. we all came down with something for about a month.. just now slowly coming around..
when I saw this digi from Bugaboo, I just had to have it.. I love the offset look of it..  with all the allergy pills I was taking I felt like my head was gone sometimes too...
I used glaze on the raindrops and some bling for sparkle.  The ribbon and papers were from my stash.. I've been trying to be good and reuse, recycle my craft supplies.... its my CREDO for this year..

Stella Says Sketch

I decided to change it up today a little bit.. at my "Copic Corner" where i sit to color, I have all my Prisma pencils sitting in a holder staring at me while I work with my copics..  I still had my gamsol (mineral spirits) in a jar ready.  so instead I found my hand wandering to the pencils today.. Its been a while and it took me a bit to get the hang of it again.. but I forgot how much fun it is to watch the wax blend out once you touch the gamsol saturated stump to the color...

Nurse Tilda to The Rescue
